Ways to work together
Couples work is the center of this practice, and it sits alongside family, individual, and premarital therapy. Many clients move between them as life asks for it.
Couples therapy
The heart of this practice.
Communication, recurring conflict, trust and infidelity, intimacy, premarital work, and life transitions that knock a partnership out of step. Sessions are 55 minutes, weekly at first.

For the person inside the relationships.
Anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-worth, boundaries with family, big decisions, and the patterns you keep repeating in love and at work. Relationally focused, even one-on-one.
Family therapy
When the whole household is affected.
Parents and teens who have stopped talking, blended families finding their footing, co-parenting after a separation, adult children and aging parents, and families supporting someone through mental illness or substance use. Adolescents 13 and up.
Terapia en español
Sessions in Spanish or bilingually.
For couples and families who think, argue, or grieve in Spanish. Useful when partners share a life in English but carry their families in another language, and for immigrant households negotiating two sets of expectations.

Before the patterns set.
A structured series covering money, family, children, faith, sex, careers, and conflict style. Some couples do six sessions and leave with a shared plan rather than a set of assumptions.
Online therapy
Anywhere in New York or Florida.
Secure video sessions through a HIPAA-compliant platform. Popular with couples in different locations, parents of small children, and clients who moved between the two states she is licensed in.
Identity is not a side note in this room.
Annalis works from the belief that a person makes sense only in context. Culture, language, migration, faith, class, gender, and the family you were raised in all shape how you love and how you fight. None of it gets left at the door.

Two states, two formats
New York
In person at the office at [Street address, suite], [Neighborhood], and online anywhere in the state. In-person sessions suit couples who want a neutral room that is not their apartment.
Florida
Online sessions statewide, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa. A Miami native by birth, Annalis knows the city her Florida clients are describing.
A therapist may only work with clients who are physically located in a state where they are licensed. That means you need to be in New York or Florida at the time of your session, and it is worth telling her ahead of time if you will be traveling.
Not sure which of these fits?
That is a good reason to book the free call. Fifteen minutes is usually enough to sort it out.
